State Senator Hardipolos has introduced and sponsored a Joint Resolution concerning Health Care here in Florida.
“Senate President Mike Hardipolos‘ proposed amendment to the state constitution that could stop President Obama’s health care plan made it through it’s third and final Senate committee on Wednesday.
Haridopolis, who is running for the U.S. Senate in 2012, had this to say in a prepared statement about approval of his so-called “Health Care Freedom Act” by the Senate budget committee:
“Today’s vote by the Senate Budget Committee brings Floridians one step closer to ensuring quality health care for Floridians without the threat of government interference.”……. Click here for full article
After reading this article I went to the Florida Senate website to read the wording of this “Senate Joint Resolution 2“ I am not an attorney so the opinion I form is my own, from my research and life experience. With that being said I will share with you my thinking on this joint resolution. First of all I would like to congratulate Senator Hardipolos in trying to make a change and help Florida in the problems the general government is creating for all Americans. Now for the reality ~from my opinion~ This Joint Resolution seems to me watered down and not having any force behind it. It leaves me with more questions than answers. How are we going to protect doctors from being penalized? How are we going to protect citizens from being penalized? Where are the secure features coming from the State? If you do have health insurance, the company you are with WILL be and ARE following the general government’s orders! I encourage everyone in Florida to contact your Representative and Senator to help support Senator Hardipolos in his efforts, but let us continue to strive for even more protection!
